Former Serbian president Boris Tadić paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus at the latter’s office in Dhaka on Monday.
Tadić lauded Yunus' leadership and the mass uprising of July and August and said he would be keen to support Bangladesh. "I love this country. Tell me if I can help you."
During the meeting, both leaders discussed geopolitical issues, challenges the interim government has been facing, and the history of Serbia.
Tadić is in Dhaka to join the Bay of Bengal Conference, hosted by the Centre for Governance Studies.
