Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has announced protest marches and rallies in all the eight divisional cities of the country on Wednesday.

The student front of Jamaat-e-Islami announced the movement in a press release issued Tuesday.

The student front urged all its members as well as general students to take part in the movements to ensure their success.

The announcement follows the killing of a lawyer at Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate's court on Tuesday afternoon amid clashes between law enforcers and the supporters of controversial Hindu rights advocate Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari. The deceased Advocate Saiful Islam Alif was a member of Jamaat-e-Islami, the organisation's chief later claimed.
