A Dhaka court has fixed 27 January for submitting the probe report on the murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.

This is the 114th extension of the deadline for submission of the probe in the sensational murder case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sharifur Rahman has fixed the new date for submitting the report as the investigation agency RAB could not submit the report Monday.

Machranga Television news editor Sagar Sarowar and ATN Bangla senior reporter Meherun Runi were killed on 11 February 2012 at their rented flat in the capital's West Razabazar area.

Later, Nowsher Alam Roman, brother of Runi, filed a murder case with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station in this connection.
