Police on Monday morning recovered 2-3 pieces of bones from in or around Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s residence at Dhanmondi-32 in the capital, confirmed Dhanmondi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Ali Ahmed Sumon.

The CID’s Crime Scene Unit has collected the bones and will examine them to determine whether these belonged to humans or animals, said CID spokesperson Special Superintendent Jashim Uddin Khan.
