Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), student front of BNP, has blamed the activists of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM) and Chhatra Shibir, student organisation of Jamaat for directly instigating attacks took place on the KUET campus on Tuesday.

JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib made the allegation while addressing a press conference held at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University (DU) on Wednesday.

ADSM KUET unit convener Omar Faruk led the attack while Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the student organisation central committee was monitoring the overall situation centrally, Rakib said during the press conference.

“Shibir and the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement activists were instigating the attack but Chhatra Dal men have been blamed in this connection,” said the JCD president.
