The two-day national festival, Inventious 4.1, which promoted innovation and leadership among students to advance the Fourth Industrial Revolution, held its closing ceremony on Saturday.

The event was organised by the MIST Innovation Club (MIC) under the supervision of the Research and Development Wing of MIST, with the closing ceremony graced by MIST Commandant, Major General Nasim Parvez, as the chief guest.

Paying tribute to Shaheed Yamin and Shaheed Rakib, two MIST students who sacrificed their lives during the July-August Student Mass Movement, he urged the youth to honour their legacy through dedication and perseverance.

He emphasised that innovation and leadership will shape a brighter future, where true success lies in pushing boundaries and embracing change.

The festival featured four major competitions: Hackathon, Lead the Future, User Interface Design Competition, and Project Showcasing, where participants demonstrated remarkable ingenuity, technical skills, and strategic thinking.

In the Hackathon, IUT emerged as the champion, while BAIUST secured the runner-up position. In Lead the Future, NSU claimed the champion title, with MIST finishing as the runner-up. The User Interface Design Competition saw Md Rohan from UIU take the top spot, followed by Nufsat Faruque from IUT as the runner-up.

The Project Showcasing event witnessed an exceptional display of talent, where IUT was crowned champion and MIST secured the runner-up position. While these teams were recognised for their outstanding performances, every participant was celebrated as a champion in the pursuit of knowledge and innovation.
