Advance ticket sales for return train journeys after Eid-ul-Fitr have begun. Tickets for intercity trains departing on April 4 are available for purchase today (March 25).

To ensure a safe and smooth Eid travel experience, Bangladesh Railway has implemented a comprehensive action plan.

As per the plan, ticket sales started online at 8 am. During this time, tickets for intercity trains in the western region will be available, while sales for intercity trains in the eastern region will begin at 2 pm.

As part of special arrangements, intercity train tickets are being sold seven days in advance. For passengers' convenience, 100% of tickets will be available online, with no option for refunds.

According to Bangladesh Railway, ticket sales follow this schedule:

• Tickets for April 3 were sold on March 24.
• Tickets for April 5 will be available on March 26.
• Tickets for April 6 will be available on March 27.
• Tickets for April 7 will be available on March 28.
• Tickets for April 8 will be available on March 29.
• Tickets for April 9 will be available on March 30.
