The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has held a discussion paying tribute to the heroes of the Liberation War on the occasion of Independence Day, set to be celebrated across Bangladesh on Wednesday.

ULAB Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Jude William Genilo delivered the welcome speech at the event, read a press release.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring talk by freedom fighter Ali Ahmed Ziauddin (Bir Protik) who shared his experiences from the Liberation War and reflected on the achievements of freedom.

He shared his personal stories of the war, which demonstrated the fervour among freedom fighters in fighting against insurmountable odds to liberate the nation.

ULAB remains committed to preserving and celebrating the legacy of the Liberation War, fostering a deep sense of patriotism among the community.
