Volunteer for Environment distributes Eid gifts among children

Volunteer for Environment (VFE) took an initiative on Wednesday to spread the spirit of Eid among all by organizing a gift distribution event for underprivileged and orphaned children at Surovi School in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
Marketing Alumni Association (MAA) of Dhaka University, Bangladesh Environmentalist Society and Shohojog jointly organised the programme.
During the event, over 150 underprivileged and orphaned children were presented with new clothes and essential educational supplies.
MAA Convener Prof ABM Shahidul Islam said that education and human values are central to the non-profit's missions.
“Initiatives like these play a vital role in raising social awareness about the rights of the underprivileged people, and promoting a culture of kindness and responsibility,” he said.
Volunteer for Environment has announced its continued commitment to providing regular educational and health support for underprivileged children across Dhaka.
DU Marketing Department Chairman Dr Sirajul Hoque, MAA Member Secretary Prof Neyamul Islam, and Executive Director of Surovi School Md Abu Taher were present at the ceremony. Among other esteemed individuals Mamtaj Ahsan Bakul was also present.
