Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden is all set to welcome the Bengali New Year in the most vibrant and traditional way with its “Rongin Boishakh” celebration this year.

From 13 to 15 April, the hotel will come alive with colours, culture, and culinary delights at Utsab Hall and the scenic poolside area.

Guests can indulge in a sumptuous dinner buffet priced at Tk7,300 net with B1G1 available on all three days, while a special lunch buffet with a Buy 1 Get 1 offer will be exclusively available on 14 April, also at Tk7,300 net.

For those who wish to join the Poolside Rongin Boishakh celebration, entry tickets are available at Tk1,200 net per person. This event is sponsored by Trust Bank PLC.

The Baishakhi buffets will showcase a rich array of traditional and fusion Bengali flavours, beginning with refreshing welcome drinks like Mango Delights and Zeera Pani.

Guests can enjoy a flavourful salad selection including Green Mango with Mustard, Spicy Zambura, Banana Flower, Tiger Prawn Salad, and Egg with Chili Chat. Accompaniments like Achar Amloki, Jolpai, Mango, and Tomato Chutney complement a wide variety of Bharta and Chutneys, perfect for the traditional palate.

The hot buffet promises a feast of authentic Bengali dishes and beyond. Rice lovers can savour Panta Bhat with condiments, Bhuna Khichuri, Steamed Rice, Pilaf, and royal Kacchi Biryani. Traditional Dal like Mashkalai and Dal Mango, a selection of Shak (greens), and an enticing live station of Hilsa Fish Fry await.

Seafood lovers can explore rich curries like Chitol Macher Kofta, Shing Macher Jhol, and Loittya Shutki Bhuna. For meat lovers, dishes such as Beef Kala Bhuna, Deshi Hasher Bhuna, Kobutorer Kosha, Mutton Boti Kebab, Chicken Jhal Fry, and Tangri Kebab will be irresistible.

The buffet also includes Western delights like Beef Steak with Mushroom Cream Sauce, Lamb Navarin, and Baked Fish Portuguese Style, alongside comforting Thai Red Curry and Chinese Stir Fry Beef.

To round off the feast, an extensive European dessert corner with Opera Slices, Apple Pudding, and Cheesecakes complements a decadent local sweet section featuring classics like Danadar, Roshogolla, Rashmalai, Malpoa, Bhapa Pitha, and Zilapi from the live stations.

The Poolside Rongin Boishakh promises an immersive Bengali festive experience with beautiful traditional décor, cultural game stalls, vibrant photo booths, and live stations serving refreshing summer drinks, Doi Fuchka, Chotpoti, and more.

Kids and adults alike will enjoy face painting, interactive local cultural games, and the picturesque poolside set against a backdrop of festive music and celebration.
