BNP, consensus commission begin dialogue on reform proposals
The National Consensus Commission officially started its journey on February 15 through a meeting with political parties

The dialogue between the National Consensus Commission and BNP began this morning regarding the reform proposals given by different commissions.
The dialogue started at 10:30am at the LD Hall of the National Parliament Building.
A five-member delegation of the BNP comprising Standing Committee members Jamir Uddin Sircar, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Salahuddin Ahmed, Council member of the BNP Chairperson Ismail Jabiullah, and former general secretary of the Supreme Court Lawyers Association Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol are participating in the dialogue.

A charter (July Charter) will be prepared by establishing a consensus with the parties on the reform proposals.
The next national elections will be held on the basis of this July Charter.
Earlier, the consensus commission had sent a "spreadsheet" (in the form of a table) to 39 political parties and alliances seeking their views on 166 important recommendations of the six reform commissions.
