Kazi Iftekhar Rahman receives Global Business and CSR Awards

Journalist Kazi Iftekhar Rahman received the Global Business and CSR Awards- 2025. He won the award in the Best Journalist (International News) category.
The award was presented to Kazi Iftekhar at a grand ceremony held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital Dhaka on Friday (May 30). The ceremony was organized by the Asian Journalists Human Rights and Cultural Foundation and the Global Media Forum of Bangladesh. Channel I was the media partner of the programme.
During the ceremony, awards were given to 38 people, including television and print media personalities, for their special contributions to various fields in Bangladesh, including singer Ankhi Alamgir, actress Runa Khan, Sadia Ayman, model Pia Jannatul, and brand promoter Barisha Haque. In addition, several distinguished personalities, including singer Ferdous Ara and film actress Rozina, were given lifetime honors for their special contributions to the music and arts.
This journalist is known as Kazi Iftekhar Shuvo in media. He is currently working as a senior newsroom editor at the popular television channel NTV. Iftekhar Shuvo started his journalism career with the Daily Kaler Kantho in 2012. After that, he worked for the Daily Vorer Pata, Priyo.com, Independent Television and Somoy Television. Kazi Iftekhar Shuvo is a member of the National Press Club (Jatiya Press Club), Dhaka Sub Editors Council- DSEC and Barisal Divisional Journalists Association- BDJA. He is also working as a member of the anti-corruption social movement Transparency International Bangladesh- TIB.
Kazi Iftekhar Shuvo was born in Banaripara upazila of Barishal district. After completing his secondary education in Bagerhat and higher secondary education in Barisal, this media journalist completed his Master's degree in education and research from Dhaka University in 2016.
