The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), AYAT Education, and Integral Global have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the BGMEA Complex in Uttara.

This partnership marks a significant step toward enhancing healthcare access and promoting workplace wellness for the country’s ready-made garment workforce, BGMEA said on Thursday.

The signing ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including Administrator of BGMEA Anwar Hossain; CEO of AYAT Education Nusrat Feroz Aman; and Director of Programs Laila Karim, along with other distinguished officials.

The primary objective of this MoU is to foster a collaborative approach to improving the health and well-being of garment workers who form the backbone of Bangladesh’s economy.

The initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services and raise awareness about workplace wellness, contributing to a more supportive and sustainable working environment.

Speaking at the event, BGMEA Administrator Anwar Hossain said: “We believe that healthier workers mean a stronger workforce and a more resilient future. We are enthusiastic to move forward together on this important journey toward holistic wellbeing in the RMG sector.”

This partnership reflects a shared vision of social responsibility and sustainable development, reinforcing the commitment of all parties involved to uplift the lives of garment workers across the nation.
