Aurora hospital signs healthcare deal with DRU
DRU members to receive discounted rates on tests, imaging, medicines, beds and physiotherapy services at Aurora.

Aurora Specialised Hospital and the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Sunday signed a corporate healthcare memorandum of understanding (MoU) enabling DRU members and their immediate families to access medical services at reduced corporate rates.
The MoU was signed on Sunday at 4:00 pm in the Aurora Hospital in Dhaka's Kakrail.
On behalf of Aurora, Managing Director Dr Sarwat Jabin, Consultant and Associate Professor of Medicine & Rheumatology Dr Nahiduzzaman Sazzad, Assistant General Manager Golam Rakib, and Head of Corporate Marketing Nazmul Huda signed the deal.
From DRU, the pact was signed by President Abu Saleh Akon and General Secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel.
Aurora’s Director (Supervision) Md Hafizur Rahman, Corporate Marketing official Abdullah Al Mamun, along with other senior hospital executives, were also present at the ceremony among others.
Under the agreement, DRU members—and their spouses and children—will enjoy the following discounts at Aurora Specialised Hospital: 40% off on pathology tests, 35% off on all radiological and imaging services, 5% off on indigenous medicines, and 10% off on bed charges and physiotherapy services.
Officials described the agreement as a significant benefit for the journalistic community, highlighting it as an example of positive collaboration between the media and healthcare sectors.
