Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, Prof Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, has said that he would maintain transparency and integrity in recruiting teachers and officials for the university during his tenure.

“There will be no room for irregularities or corruption in any recruitment process under my administration. Merit and fairness will be strictly upheld,” he said while addressing a Fruit Festival organised by the JU Journalists’ Association (JUJA) at the Social Sciences Faculty of the university on Saturday.

Emphasising the importance of dialogue over conflict, the VC said, “Disputes should be resolved through discussion, not debate. Events like this foster unity and understanding.”
