Coast Guard provides free medical aid in Munshiganj

The Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) on Wednesday provided essential medical services and distributed emergency medicines among 250 poor and destitute people at Kandipara of Munshiganj.
Lieutenant Commander Harun-ur-Rashid, media officer at the Coast Guard Headquarters, revealed the development in a press statement.
The BCG Dhaka Zone’s Composite Station Padma conducted the free medical campaign from 9am in the morning to 1pm at noon.
The Coast Guard has extended support to the underprivileged communities in the coastal and riverbank areas at different periods in the past, the press statement read. The force would continue welfare activities in the future, it added.
