Twenty-two highest remittance receivers through bKash before Eid have won Hisense deep freezers and 43-inch Hisense smart TVs.

Alongside, during the campaign, relatives of expatriates who have received remittance of Tk10,000 or more (excluding the 2.5% government incentive) have got a guaranteed discount coupon of Tk500, read a press release.

bKash and Hisense, a home appliance and electronics brand, organised this campaign to further encourage sending remittances through legal banking channels. 

A total of 22 individuals won the prizes in two phases throughout the campaign. Recently, the last group of winners received their prize mementos at a simple ceremony held at bKash's head office.

Currently, expatriates can send remittances to their relatives' bKash accounts in Bangladesh as many times as needed from more than 140 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the USA, the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Kuwait, Italy, Canada, France, and South Korea, via 110 international MTOs. 

These remittances are settled via 25 top commercial banks and are instantly deposited into loved ones' bKash accounts, featuring a Tk25 per thousand as government incentives, read the release. 

Expatriates can send Tk250,000 remittance per transaction to bKash as per Bangladesh Bank’s regulations. Due to such benefits, sending remittances directly to bKash accounts has quickly gained trust and confidence of expatriates and their relatives.
