BRAC Bank recently hosted a graduation ceremony titled ‘Learner to Leader’ to mark the completion of the year-long training programme for its 2024 batch of Young Leaders.
The Young Leaders’ Programme (YLP) is a structured development initiative aimed at grooming future leaders for Bangladesh’s banking sector. Over the course of 12 months, 49 Young Leaders gained exposure to key banking domains including digital innovation, business operations, compliance, and risk management. The curriculum integrated classroom learning, project-based assignments, and cross-functional rotations to ensure a comprehensive professional foundation, read a press release.
The graduation ceremony took place on 31 July 2025 at the bank’s Head Office. The event featured cultural performances by the graduates and was attended by senior officials. Each Young Leader received a commemorative souvenir and formal announcement letter, marking their transition into the role of Principal Officer.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO (Current Charge), addressed the graduates, stating: “Our people are the foundation of our progress—and these Young Leaders represent the future we’re building.
