The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday named a three-member Election Commission to oversee its Board of Directors Election 2025.

Mohammod Hossain, senior advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, has been appointed as the chief election commissioner.

He will be joined by Md Sibgat Ullah, BPM, PPM, additional inspector general of police and chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), as an Election Commissioner.

The third member of the commission will be the executive director (Joint Secretary) of the National Sports Council, also serving as an election commissioner.

The commission has been tasked with conducting and completing the election process in accordance with the BCB’s constitution and regulations.
