Mother, daughter found dead in Cumilla
Initially, no injury marks were found on their bodies. However, it is believed that this was a murder. The matter will be clear once the autopsy report is received.

A woman and her daughter were found dead at a rented house in Cumilla’s Kaliajuri area today.
Police recovered their bodies early Monday (8 September).
Mohinul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Thana in Cumilla, confirmed the incident.
The deceased were identified as Tahmina Begum, 45, wife of the late Nurul Islam, a resident of Sujanagar area of Cumilla city and former accountant of the Cumilla court, and her daughter Sumaiya Arfin, 23.
They had been living in a rented house in the Kaliajuri area for the past five years.
Locals said the family had been living in a rented house in Kaliajuri area for a long time. On Sunday, there was nobody at their home except the mother and daughter. Around 11 pm, the deceased’s two sons, Faisal and Al-Amin, came from Dhaka and found the bodies of their mother and sister.
Later, police visited the scene being informed about the incident and sent their bodies to the morgue after recovering them.
In this regard, OC Mohinul Islam said, after receiving information on 999, he rushed to the spot around 2 am. There, he found the bodies of a woman and her daughter lying separately on beds in two rooms on the second floor of Nelly Cottage. Later, their bodies were recovered and sent to Cumilla Medical College Hospital.

The deceased’s son is preparing to file a case at the police station in this connection.
