Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised a cleanliness campaign at Bhola Night and Day Secondary School on Monday to raise environmental awareness and promote the importance of hygiene. Members cleaned the school premises, nearby roads, and market areas, while urging residents to reduce their use of plastic and polythene.
Bangladesh Teachers’ Association (Bhola Sadar branch) Vice President and Shuvosangho District Adviser Md Sharafat Hossain inaugurated the event. He said, “Building a clean environment is everyone’s responsibility. Cleanliness must be a daily habit, not a one-day activity.”
Senior teacher and school branch adviser Mohiuddin Masud, along with other teachers and local leaders, attended the program. Bhola District Shubhosongho President Md Shafayat Hossain (Siyam) stressed that “a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy society.”
School branch President Nuha Begum pledged to continue the campaign. At the same time, students expressed hope that such initiatives would encourage residents to keep their homes and surroundings clean, helping to build a cleaner city.
