Seminar on govt budget held at PU

A day-long seminar on ‘Government Budgeting Practices in Bangladesh’ was held at IQAC Conference Hall of Primeasia University (PU) in the capital’s Banani on Monday.


School of Business of the university organised the seminar, says a press release.


Prof Dr Gias Uddin Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor of PU, was present at the seminar as the chief guest while Ranjit Kumar Chakraborty, Project Manager of Inclusive Budgeting and Financing for Climate Resilience (IBFCR) of UNDP Bangladesh and also the former Additional Secretary of Finance Ministry, was the keynote speaker at the Seminar.


AKM Ashraful Haque, Treasurer and Abul Kashem Molla, Registrar of the university, were present at the programme as the special guests where Prof Dr AHM Habibur Rahman, Dean of School of Business of PU, presided over the seminar. M Zillur Rahman, Director of MBA Programme, Dr Muhammad Nazrul Islam, Director of BBA Programme of PU, heads of other departments, teachers, officers and students also took part in the seminar.
