15-member team of NDRA leaves for Korea

A 15-member team of the National Drug Regulatory Authority (NDRA) departed for Korea on Wednesday to partake in Korea International Cooperation Agency’s (KOICA) third-year fellowship program on Pharmaceutical Safety Management.

The pharmaceutical industry of Bangladesh holds the second leading position after the country’s robust RMG sector. It has been declared as a thrust sector by the government as it is capable of producing about 98 percent medicine of its local demand.

Moreover, it meets a large number of foreign demand as well exporting medicine to almost 140 countries.
