Ujjwala Limited, a recently formed social impact company, has been making quite a difference in the social space by creating and grooming women entrepreneurs and professionals in the beauty and grooming arena. Recently, they conducted an interesting session with the women workforce of Avery Dennison.
Ujjwala Limited has introduced an interactive and composite training program for working professionals covering the entire gamut of personal grooming.This unique experience offers expert suggestions tailored to meet the respective organization’s needs and objectives.
More than 35 women members of Avery Dennison participated in a two-day-long session at the premises of Ujjwala Limited. The experiences covered areas such as professional development, mental well-being, behavioural management, personal styling and nutrition. The faculty also included guest lecturers and industry experts from their respective domains.
Day 1 of the exercise covered the areas of professional development which was conducted by Aditya Shome, ex-managing director of Marico Bangladesh Limited and now an independent business consultant and founding chairman of Ujjwala Limited. Ms. Manzum Nahar shared her experiences on ‘personality & behavioural management’ with the participants. Both the faculty members provided guidance to the members on how they should go about with the planning of their careers and manner in which they must overcome behavioral issues at the workplace.
Day 2 of the program covered areas of mental well-being and personal nutrition - two equally important aspects of our lives, one encompassing the physical attributes whereas the other one is related to our mental health. Ms. Mounira Rahman enthralled the audience with her vast experiences in this field. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by the participants since it had several group exercises. On the other hand, Ms. Tamanna Chowdhury, in her own signature style, explained to all the benefits of a healthy diet and also how can we maintain a diet without compromising our food preferences.
