Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home from Singapore on Tuesday, curtailing her official visit following a deadly US-Bangla plane crash in Nepal.
A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the premier and her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 6:15pm.
The premier went to Singapore on Sunday at an invitation of her Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong.
Sheikh Hasina, who was scheduled to return home on Wednesday afternoon, curtailed her four-day tour by a day to stand by the families of the crash victims.
During her visit to Singapore, she held official talks with Singapore premier Lee Hsien Loong and paid a courtesy call on President Halimah Yacob.
The Bangladesh premier attended a lunch hosted by her Singaporean counterpart and joined Singapore-Bangladesh Business Forum and Business Roundtable at Shangri-La Hotel as the chief guest.
