‘First International Action Art Fair’ by UNESCO club for Pireus and Islands is underway at Chalkida, Greece. It was inaugurated on June 19, 2018. In the symposium invited artists create their own painting in five days and on the fifth day of the programme they will go on to organize an exhibition. Md. Kauser Hossain, the country head of IWS Bangladesh, has participated in this fair as an invited artist.
An artist with international repute, Md. Kauser Hossain was born in 1973. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1998 from BAFA. He has participated in more than 50 international art camps and exhibitions. Now he works as the Country Head of International Watercolor Society Bangladesh (IWSB) and the Country Leader of FabrianoInAcquarello. He is also a curator of UrbinoInAcquerello. He has founded a nationwide art group ‘Focus Bangladesh’. For his contribution to art he has achieved Golden Brush Award 2015 and Art Maestro Award, special mention, 2015. He has also received honorable award “Pearls of Peace Season 2” and guest of honor award "Harmony Through Watercolor 2017".
Four editions of ‘International Action Art Fair’ by UNESCO club for Pireus and Islands will be arranged this year for creating an international interactive platform for the artists. Their second edition will take place in Moscow (Russia) in August and the third edition will be held in the last week of September in Rhodos, Greece. The last (4th) edition will kick off in November in Belgrade, Serbia.
It’s mentionable that renowned artists, namely Firoozeh Akhlaghi, Cem Ustuner, Anna Golovinskaya and Rashmi Agarwal, have been selected as directors for this fair.
