Bashundhara City Shopping Complex celebrates 22nd anniv

Bashundhara City Shopping Complex celebrated its 22nd anniversary on Sunday under the theme “22 years of trust, love and journey”.
The day-long celebrations began at 2 pm with a prayer and milad at the shopping mall in Panthapath, near Karwan Bazar in Dhaka.
Popular celebrities Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Sabila Nur, Toma Mirza and Ziaul Roshan then took part in a special flash mob performance that drew loud cheers from the audience. 
The Alifia Dance Team also performed.
A fashion show featured brands including Klubhaus, Freeland, Caption, Infinity, Dubai Borka, Shishu Poribahan, Stunning by Shahad, JOE'S, AARTFIT, Irani Borka and Sea Sky.

Speaking at the programme, Bashundhara City Development Limited (BCDL) Deputy Managing Director Captain (retd) Shaikh Ehsan Reza said Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan had dreamt of building a world-class shopping destination 22 years ago and that the dream had been realised.
He said the journey had not been easy, but shop owners, tenants and their employees had stood by the mall through every challenge.
The mall would continue to introduce modern services, new brands, better facilities and attractive events to improve the customer experience, he added.
