BRTC to launch 'Eid Special Bus Service' on 23 May

Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is set to launch its “Eid Special Bus Service” from 23 May ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha.

Advance ticket sales for the special service will begin on 17 May, said a press release issued by the corporation’s public relations department on Thursday.

The release said the government has taken the initiative to ensure safe, comfortable and affordable travel for homebound passengers during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

Under the special service, passengers will be able to travel to different destinations across the country at affordable fares.

The authorities urged people to avail themselves of the BRTC special bus service during the Eid holidays.
