Six children die at Maghbazar's Ad-Din Hospital, police launch investigation

At least six children died at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital in the capital’s Maghbazar area on Wednesday morning, prompting police to launch an investigation into the incident.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Ramna Division Sheikh Zahidul Islam confirmed the information.

“We received information about the deaths of six children at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital. However, we do not yet know the exact cause. Police are at the scene and I am also heading there,” he said.

Law enforcement officials said they are examining the incident and collecting information to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
