Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended a special programme titled "Youth, Startups and Bangladesh of Possibilities" at the University of Dhaka (DU) on Tuesday (14 July).

The Prime Minister arrived on the campus in the morning, where he was welcomed by leaders and activists of Jatiyotabadi Chhatra Dal. General students were also seen greeting him.

The event, held at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university, is being organised by the government's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division in collaboration with the University of Dhaka.

As the chief guest, the Prime Minister is set to inaugurate the National Startup and Entrepreneurship Platform. Following the opening session, the programme will be opened to the general public from 1:00pm.

One of the key highlights of the event is the launch of the National Startup and Entrepreneurship Platform, a digital initiative designed to serve as a national launchpad for entrepreneurs.

Through the platform, entrepreneurs will be able to access information and services related to government support programmes, application procedures, training, mentoring, investment opportunities, partner organisations, and other essential resources from a single portal.
