The government has kept retail prices of all types of fuel unchanged for November, maintaining diesel at Tk135 a litre, octane at Tk165, petrol at Tk160 and kerosene at Tk155.
The Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Division announced the decision on Thursday, saying the existing rates would remain in force from 1 November.
According to a notification issued by the division, the prices were kept unchanged with the approval of the competent authority.
The Energy Division adjusts retail fuel prices every month in line with changes in international market rates.
The latest decision follows a Tk20-a-litre increase in the prices of all types of fuel on 20 September, when the government cited rising international oil prices and freight charges amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Following that increase, diesel was priced at Tk135 a litre, kerosene at Tk155, petrol at Tk160 and octane at Tk165.
The unchanged rates mean consumers will continue to pay the same prices throughout November.
