Md Khairul Hasan CSAA has been appointed as the Head of the Public Affairs and Brand Communication Division at First Security Islami Bank PLC.

Hasan brings over 13 years of experience from Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, where he served in key roles across Brand and Communication, as well as Business Promotion and Marketing divisions.

A graduate in English from Jahangirnagar University, he began his career as a journalist at Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and later worked with several national and international organisations, including BRAC University and the South Asia Foundation's Bangladesh chapter.

He holds an MBA from Bangladesh University of Professionals, a Kamil (Masters) degree under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and an LLB from the National University. Hasan is also a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA), accredited by Bahrain-based AAOIFI, a global standard-setting body for Islamic finance.

A ‘Diplomaed Associate’ of The Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh, he has earned several professional certifications, including in Islamic banking. Hasan is also known for his writing on Islamic economics and contemporary issues, with published works such as *Corporate Writing* receiving public appreciation.

He has previously held leadership positions in various social and cultural bodies, including as President and General Secretary of the Jahangirnagar University Journalists’ Association. Born in Santhia, Pabna, Hasan continues to be active in intellectual and cultural circles.
