NCP Diaspora Alliance France announces convening committee

The France chapter of the National Citizen Party (NCP) Diaspora Alliance has announced its convening committee.
The 17-member committee will serve for a six-month term. The announcement came through a press release issued on Saturday (July 26) by Mohammad Usama, central office secretary of NCP.
Chowdhury Mohammad Iftesham, a French citizen of Bangladeshi origin and a banking professional, has been appointed as the convener of the committee. Young politician Md Shahporan Ahmed Shakil has been named the member secretary. Forman Ullah and Monowar Hossain have been appointed as joint conveners, while SM Masrukh Uddin has taken the role of chief organizer.
Speaking to Banglanews24, Convener Chowdhury Iftesham said, “Our goal is to promote principle-based politics. NCP Diaspora Alliance France aims to become the voice of Bangladeshi expatriates living in France. Safeguarding the voting rights of expatriates and advocating for their rightful demands will be the main mission of this committee.”
The committee also includes Ishtiak Akib and Alauddin Al Mamun as regional organizers, Mukut A Kaiyum as executive secretary, and Mohammad Al Kaiyum as finance secretary. Rabeya Bosri Raisa has been appointed communication coordinator, and Mohammad Safwat Hossain (Rabbi Raj) will serve as publicity coordinator.
Executive members include Hossain Rezwan, Md. Sakib Hossain, Maruf Ahmed, Md. Majharul Haque, Rakib Hossain, and Afzal Hossain Alvi.
According to the organization, the NCP Diaspora Alliance will operate under an independent and autonomous constitution, adhering to both domestic and international legal frameworks. The alliance aims to ensure the active participation of expatriates in building a “New Bangladesh”, and to secure their voting rights.
