“Trees are not only a beauty of nature but also a vital support for protecting
human life and the environment. Climate change has become a serious threat due
to indiscriminate tree cutting and deforestation. To restore environmental
balance, afforestation must be prioritised at individual, family and social
levels.”
Naim Rahman said Bashundhara Shuvosangho
always believes in welfare activities. “Protecting the environment and society
is not only the responsibility of the government; it is a collective
responsibility of all of us. If everyone plants and takes care of at least one
tree, the dream of building a green Bangladesh will become stronger,” he added.
