Bashundhara Shuvosangho South East University Branch
organized a lunch and educational material distribution program for more than a
hundred orphaned students at the Kamrunnnessa Khatun Foundation in Uttara,
Dhaka on Tuesday.
The main objective of the initiative was to bring smiles to
the children's faces and encourage them in their studies by providing essential
educational materials.
Many children's faces lit up with joy as they received the
new materials. To them, these were more than just notebooks, pens, and other
educational supplies; they were a source of renewed encouragement to continue
moving forward on their educational journey.
Those present at the event included Bashundhara Shuvosangsho
South East University Branch members SM Isfar Talukdar, Sumaiya Tabassum Raisa,
Ishtiaq Rahman, Mehedi Hasan, Tasfia Noor, Sumona Afroz, Rafsan Sardar, Yasin
Arafat, and Pranto Adhikari.
SM Isfar Talukdar said, “It is our moral responsibility to
stand beside underprivileged and orphaned children. Bringing smiles to their
faces and encouraging them in their education are the main objectives of our
initiative. Today’s small effort may not be something very significant, but for
these children, it will remain a memorable day of happiness. We will continue
our efforts to stand beside them through such humanitarian activities in the
future.”
