The 25th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions 2026 concluded in Dhaka on Saturday, marking 25 years of CEMS-Global’s engagement with Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.
According to a press release, the four-day exhibition, held from 2-5 September at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal, brought together around 1,475 companies from 37 countries, with more than 2,245 booths and pavilions. Over 16,000 business visitors attended the event.
Organised by CEMS-Global USA and CEMS Bangladesh, the event featured three major exhibitions: the 25th Textech Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, the 26th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026-Summer Edition, and the 53rd DyeChem Bangladesh 2026 International Expo.
The exhibitions showcased textile and apparel machinery, automation, advanced production technologies, yarn, fabrics, trims, accessories, dyestuffs, chemicals and other solutions across the manufacturing value chain.
Meherun N Islam, president and group managing director of CEMS-Global USA and Asia-Pacific, said Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry had made significant progress in technology, productivity, international standards, compliance and sustainable manufacturing over the past 25 years.
She said the textile series had evolved from a conventional exhibition into an important annual B2B platform, helping buyers, suppliers and industry stakeholders build direct business connections.
The exhibition also featured a Digital Transformation Zone showcasing AI, automation, ERP, smart factories, IoT, Industry 4.0, data analytics, cloud technology, cybersecurity, sustainable production and traceability solutions.
Five seminars held alongside the exhibitions focused on sustainability, wastewater management, Bangladesh-India textile value chains, logistics and trade facilitation, architectural trends, and industry-academia collaboration for developing an AI-ready workforce.
The event came at a time when the global textile industry is undergoing rapid change driven by sustainability, traceability, automation, AI and resilient supply chains.
Against this backdrop, the exhibition provided Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector with opportunities to explore new technologies, materials and business partnerships while pursuing greater productivity, innovation, diversification and value addition.
