BRAC Bank’s ‘Dyuti’ offers enhanced banking solutions

BRAC Bank has revamped its specialised banking proposition ‘Dyuti’ with an enhanced Dyuti Savings Account and a new Dyuti Salary Account for employees of the government, autonomous bodies and state-owned organisations.
The revamped proposition expands Dyuti, which was launched as a specialised banking service for government employees, with greater value and tailored solutions across their banking needs, according to a press release.
The Dyuti Savings Account offers preferential benefits including a free Visa Multi-Currency Debit Card for the first year, free intercity transactions and SMS alerts, and no account maintenance fee for customers maintaining an average balance of Tk50,000. It also provides monthly interest, access to Astha digital banking and 24/7 customer support.
The new Dyuti Salary Account, designed for government employees receiving their salaries through BRAC Bank, offers five free monthly withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs and a free first 10-leaf chequebook. Customers can also access tailored financial solutions, including special offers on personal loans and credit cards, subject to applicable criteria.
Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, deputy managing director and head of branch distribution network at BRAC Bank, said government employees play a vital role in running the state and advancing the country’s development and deserve modern, personalised banking services tailored to their evolving needs. “Through ‘Dyuti’, we aim to bring them technology-enabled banking, tailored financial solutions and a range of privileges that recognise the value of their service,” he said.
The revamped Dyuti is part of the bank’s efforts to make its services more relevant to the communities it serves. Government employees can open a Dyuti account at any BRAC Bank branch or through its 24/7 Call Centre at 16221. Existing customers can also transfer their salary arrangements to BRAC Bank to access Dyuti Salary Account benefits, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
