Pakistani envoy visits Dhaka fashion event

Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider visited a day-long fashion event in Dhaka on Saturday, bringing together designers from Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The event, titled “The Festive Dhaka Edit”, was jointly organised by SS Edit and Aura Exhibit at The Westin Dhaka. 
During the visit, Imran Haider interacted with designers from both countries and appreciated their craftsmanship. He expressed hope that such initiatives would help strengthen business ties and promote people-to-people connections between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
He also wished the participating designers’ success, according to a press release issued by the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka.
