MCCI, Pakistan envoy discuss enhancing bilateral trade

Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) President Kamran T Rahman received Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider at the MCCI Head Office in the capital on Monday.

The two sides discussed developing institutional linkages of MCCI with regional chambers of commerce and industry in Pakistan, organising Business-to-Business meetings and reciprocal participation in exhibitions, said a press release.

They also discussed avenues to enhance bilateral trade across various sectors including pharmaceuticals, fresh fruits and vegetables, jute, surgical goods and ceramics.
