Qatar extends entry visa validity by one month

The government of Qatar has announced a one-month extension of all entry visas, providing temporary relief to visitors amid the current situation.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior of Qatar confirmed that the validity of all categories of entry visas will be extended by one month.
The ministry added that the extension could be prolonged further depending on developments in the situation.
The decision will take effect from 28 February, according to the statement.
Authorities also clarified that the extension process will be carried out automatically through the electronic system. Visa holders will not be required to pay any additional fees, visit government offices, or submit separate applications to benefit from the extension.
The move is expected to ease concerns among foreign nationals currently in the country whose visas were nearing expiration.
