Bangladesh, Nepal discuss strengthening trade, energy ties

Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari called on Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury on Wednesday afternoon.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on enhancing Nepal–Bangladesh cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, energy and connectivity.

Both sides emphasised the need for practical measures to further strengthen bilateral trade and energy partnership, including addressing existing barriers to trade.
