Ambassador Christensen launches American Founders Museum in Dhaka

US Ambassador Brent T Christensen inaugurated the American Founders Museum at the Edward M Kennedy Center in Dhaka on Wednesday.

The museum, a White House initiative developed with the US Department of Education and PragerU, explores the ideas, people, and events that shaped America's independence, according to US mission spokesperson Poornima Rai.

Part of Freedom 250—America's 250th anniversary celebration—the exhibition is on view at US institutions worldwide.

The embassy will expand access to the exhibit by installing smaller versions at five additional American Corners across Bangladesh in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Sylhet.
