SAARC Secretary visits Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad

SAARC Secretary General Golam Sarwar visited the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The SAARC secretary general was received by Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md Iqbal Hossain Khan during the visit, according to a press release.

Defence Adviser, Deputy High Commissioner, Press Counsellor, Counsellor (Consular), Head of Chancery, officials and staff of the High Commission, as well as SAARC Secretariat Director Md Wasim Shahzad Chowdhury and other concerned SAARC officials, were present on the occasion.

The secretary general toured Bangladesh's newly constructed chancery complex in the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad.

Golam Sarwar also exchanged greetings with those present and later planted a tree on the High Commission premises.
