India said on Tuesday that it had no fresh information on whether Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman would attend the BRICS outreach session in New Delhi, just four days before the summit.
“I have no update to share with you on this,”
Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at a media
briefing in New Delhi.
Tarique Rahman was invited by Indian Prime
Minister Narendra Modi to attend the outreach session during the BRICS summit,
scheduled for 12-13 September.
