The Turkish television series “Mostafa” has become a fan-favourite among Bangladeshi viewers since it began airing on RTV. The 250-episode romantic thriller, which premiered on 1 August, has already aired 50 episodes, drawing strong audience engagement on social media. The show is being aired from Sunday to Wednesday at 8:10pm.

At the heart of the story is Mostafa Karael, a principled police officer who lives for his only son. His deep love for his child forms the emotional backbone of the series, which beautifully explores the warmth and struggles of fatherhood.

However, Mostafa’s life takes a dark turn when, in the course of pursuing a gang of smugglers, he becomes the victim of a conspiracy. Falsely accused, he is dismissed from his job and sent to prison for a year. During his imprisonment, his father-in-law assumes care of his beloved son — a loss that leaves Mostafa shattered.

Life offers him a glimmer of hope when he meets Aysegul, a kind-hearted doctor. A tender romance develops between them, giving Mostafa reason to believe in love again. But fate intervenes with another twist — Aysegul is revealed to be the daughter of Bahri, the city’s most feared godfather. What follows is a gripping tale of love, betrayal, and redemption.

Portraying the lead role, Ilker Kaleli delivers a powerful performance as the morally upright Mostafa. He is joined by Bursin Terciogul, Musa Uzunlar, and other notable Turkish actors. The award-winning series has earned widespread acclaim and holds an impressive IMDb rating of 8.2/10.
