Popular small-screen actors Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Aisha Khan have appeared together in a new drama titled “Ishara”, released on Capital Drama on Thursday.
Directed by Mahmud Mahin, the production has been receiving positive responses from viewers since its release.
The story of “Ishara” explores the power of words; the greatest blessing and sometimes the greatest curse in human life.
Words help people connect, express emotions, and nurture relationships; yet, they can also create misunderstandings and emotional distance.
Director Mahmud Mahin said, “Ishara is more than just a drama. It reflects human emotions, where silence speaks and unspoken feelings get lost in words. It shows that the real art is not in what we say, but how we say it. Words can touch hearts, but they can also hurt them.”
Talking about his role, Jovan said, “Ishara is a simple family drama about a husband and wife. I play a mute character who cannot speak. The story shows what happens in a family when you can talk—and what happens when you can’t.
This is my second project with Capital Drama, and I’m happy that the audiences are praising our work.”
“The story is quite unique, and we all worked with great dedication. I feel good it received a warm response from the audience. Because their appreciation matters the most,” shared Aisha Khan.
The cast of the drama also includes Shamima Nazneen, Shariful, MNU Raju, and Ashraf Tulu. The drama also features a song written by Mubtashim Mahi, composed and arranged by Salman Zaim, and sung by Salman Zaim and Masha Islam.
