Sanjoy again with Nora Fatehi in a new song

Bangladeshi-American DJ and musician Sanjoy is reuniting with Bollywood star Nora Fatehi for a new song titled “Champion”, set for release on 29 June. The duo previously gained international attention with “SiirSiir”, performed at the opening ceremony of the Football World Cup 2026.

Speaking to the media from Dallas, Sanjoy said ‘Champion’ is more than a sports anthem. “It is a song about victory in life, celebrating every achievement and every success that comes after struggle. We want people to feel inspired and gain positive energy from it,” he said. “Champion will make everyone feel like a winner.”

In addition to singing, Sanjoy wrote, composed, and directed the song. He revealed that work on the project has been underway for nearly two months and that he and Nora planned its release around the World Cup period.

The music video was filmed in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Sanjoy and Nora Fatehi travelled there for a two-day trip and completed the entire shoot within a single day.

With their previous collaboration receiving wide international acclaim, expectations are high for Champion, which aims to deliver an uplifting message of confidence, perseverance, and celebration.
