Imdadul Haq Milan shares literary experiences with Gaibandha students

Celebrated novelist Imdadul Haq Milan on Tuesday interacted with students of Gana Unnayan Kendra Residential Model School and College in Gaibandha, making the event an unforgettable experience for the students.
At the outset of the event, the writer was formally welcomed with flowers. He then shared stories behind his works while the students performed songs, recited poems, and staged dance performances. Later, they surrounded him for autographs.
Addressing the students, Imdadul Haq Milan said, “From the Language Movement to the July uprising, students have led every major movement, and you are the generation that will continue that legacy by standing beside the people of the country in times of crisis.”
He also urged the students to become good human beings alongside pursuing their studies.
Delivering the welcome address, institution Chairman Abdus Salam said he had once bought one of the writer's books at the book fair and tried to get his autograph but could not because of the huge crowd. He said having the writer at the institution was a great privilege.
Principal Jahurul Kaiyum said, “We are honoured to have such an eminent personality at our institution. His visit will inspire us and encourage our students to dream bigger.”
During his visit to Gaibandha for several events, including Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s sewing machine distribution programme, Imdadul Haq Milan visited the institution, toured its facilities, and joined the event.
