10 crude bombs recovered, disposed of in Gazipur

Police recovered 10 crude bombs from the Andarul area under Tongi West police station in Gazipur on Saturday noon and later disposed of the devices, police said.
Tongi West police station Officer-in-Charge Arifur Rahman confirmed the matter to Daily Sun, saying the Bomb Disposal Unit disposed of the devices.
“There were 10 cocktails. We are conducting an operation to find out who was involved. But no one has been arrested so far,” he said.
Earlier, locals spotted several cocktail-like objects inside a sack in front of the house of one Attosh Ali in the Andarul area and informed police.
Police later went to the spot and recovered the objects. The area was cordoned off for security reasons, and the bomb disposal team was called in to examine and dispose of the devices.
