BNP knows how to lead Bangladesh forward: Tarique

The BNP is the only political party capable of governing the country properly and efficiently, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said on Saturday.

He warned that people must remain vigilant so that no one can snatch away their hard-earned rights through conspiracy. 

The BNP chief made the remarks while addressing an election rally in Sirajganj this afternoon.

Tarique said the BNP is the only political party that knows how to move the country forward. At present, he added, there is no other experienced party in the country apart from the BNP.

He further said that people place their trust in those who have experience, are trustworthy, and have not abandoned them in times of crisis. The BNP embodies all these qualities, he said.

“Many people will come and try to mislead you. When you see anyone doing that, tell them, ‘You are Gupto’.” 

He said, “Those spreading misleading information have only one name – ‘Gupto’ [hidden]. We have not seen them in the last 16 years. They were secretly associated with those who fled on 5 August.”
